Roberto O. Ramirez is the
CEO of Enterprise Risk Worldwide, Inc., a firm that
specializes in Business Continuity Management, Emergency
Management, Crisis Management, Information Security,
ISO, Business Processes Reorganization, Application Management,
Management Processing, Regulatory Compliance, Systems & Engineering
Solutions, and Technology Sizing.
Mr. Ramirez, a Continuity professional with over 30
years of technical and business experience covering a
full spectrum of business and industries. He has held various
management responsibilities for organizations in the
Brokerage, Banking, Insurance, Manufacturing and Health
industries. Mr. Ramirez has spent the last 20 years specializing
in Continuity Management, Crisis Management and Emergency
Management. In 1998 he established and developed the
consulting services firm, Enterprise Business Continuity,
Inc. (EBC-Inc). In 2003, EBC-Inc name was amended to
Enterprise Risk Worldwide, Inc.
Mr. Ramirez has worked and consulted for many firms and companies,
including Shearson Lehman, American Express, Bankers
Trust Company, Union Bank of Switzerland, Guardian Life
Insurance Companies, and Quest Diagnostics, among others.
Mr. Ramirez is a well known consultant, speaker and educator.
He has conducted training and special presentations for
both domestic and international professional organizations,
such as the Information Security Systems Associations
(ISSA), the Contingency Planning Exchange (CPE), Greater
New York Construction User Council, InfraGard, Strategic Research
Institute, International Communications for Management
(ICM), Montreal Canada, Japan's Crisis Management & Preparation
Organization (CMPO), and the Nikkei Company.
Mr. Ramirez serves on the Executive Board of the Contingency
Planning Exchange, Inc. organization since 1985. He was
elected its chairman in 1997 - 1998 and is the current Vice Chair of Educational Programs.
Mr. Ramirez is an Instructor for Business Continuity for
NYU's Continuing Education Division.
